With Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday reassuring farmers that Minimum Support Price (MSP) will continue and invited protesting farmers for next round of talks to end the months-long deadlock, agitating kisan leaders said that they are ready for the next meeting and asked the Centre to choose the date for the discussion.

The centre and protesting farmers have held 11 round of talks over the three farm laws which were passed during the Monsoon session in September 2020.

Samkyukta Kisan Morcha member and farmer leader Shiv Kumar Kakka said they are ready for the next round of talks and the government should inform them the date and time of the meeting.
