An FIR has been registered by Haryana Police against former 'Bigg Boss' contestant and actress Yuvika Chaudhary for using a casteist slur in one of her vlogs.

The complaint comes after Dalit rights activist Rajat Kalsan had filed a complaint against the actress for making derogatory remarks about the Scheduled Caste community.

The FIR has been lodged under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Known for films like 'Om Shanti Om' and 'The Shaukeens', Yuvika in her apology had said that she didn't know the meaning of the word she used in her YouTube vlog.
