Fodder Scam: Lalu Yadav gets bail in Dumka Treasury case

Jailed Rashtriya Janata Dal leader and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav was granted bail by the Jharkhand High Court in the Dumka treasury case. He was convicted in four cases related to the fodder scam. The court had earlier rejected the politician's bail plea on February 19, 2021. He was sent to jail for seven years under two sections in the Dumka Treasury case for the illegal withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from the Dumka treasury.
