Fujifilm's new $6,000 mirrorless camera flaunts a 102MP sensor

Fujifilm has announced its new GFX100S mirrorless camera with the 'world's highest 102-megapixel large format sensor', that is about 1.7 times the size of a 35mm full-frame sensor. It features the X-Processor 4 image-processing engine, supports 5-Axis Image Stabilisation and gets a 0.5-inch OLED colour viewfinder that offers approximately 3.69 million dots. The camera is capable of recording up 4K video at up to 29.97fps and is rated for up to 460 frames for still images. In terms of connectivity, it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, HDMI Micro connector, 3.5mm microphone and a USB Type-C port. The GFX100S will go on sale in late February 2021 for $5,999 in the US. Indian pricing and availability haven’t been announced yet.
