US sports and fitness-tracker company Garmin has announced its new triathlon-focussed smartwatch, the Forerunner 745. The successor to the Forerunner 735XT is aimed squarely at athletes to offer advanced data on running, swimming and cycling. It features a 1.2-inch transflective MIP (Memory in Pixel) always-on display, a blood oxygen sensor for VO2 max data and a pulse oximeter for sleep tracking, besides SpO2 and stress monitoring. The watch is 5ATM waterproof, has built-in GPS, can store over 500 songs and last one week with moderate usage. The Forerunner 745 smartwatch comes in black, white, red and green colours for $500, but there are no details on Indian pricing and availability.
