Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday announced that a separate agriculture budget will be presented from next year. Gehlot presented state's budget for 2021-22 in the Assembly.

The CM's announcement comes in the middle of largescale farmers protests against the Centre's three new laws.

A number of kisan mahapanchayats and big protests are being held in Rajasthan as well against the new laws and the ruling Congress is supporting the protesting farmers.
