The global coronavirus death toll has passed another milestone, exceeding 8,90,000 deaths as confirmed by researchers at Johns Hopkins University.
The caseload stands at more than 27.2 million worldwide. The United States remains at the top of the chart in terms of the cases and deaths, with 6,296,629 cases and 189,114 deaths, accounting for more than 20% of the global deaths.
India is at the second spot, with over 42,04,613 cases.
Brazil recorded 126,650 deaths, while other countries with over 30,000 fatalities include Mexico, Britain, Italy, and France.
