Stocks fell around the world on Friday, reacting to news of US president Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump both testing positive for Covid-19.
S&P 500 and Dow Jones dropped 1.2% while tech-heavy Nasdaq also fell 1.6%. In Europe, the FTSE 100 fell 1.1% at opening, Germany's DAX dropped 1.4%. Asian stocks followed European peers, Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.6% at closing.
