Globally known Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg on Saturday branded the U.N. climate talks in Glasgow “a failure", accusing leaders of actively creating loopholes in the rules and giving misleading pictures of their countries’ emissions.
The 18-year-old swedish activist joined a rally outside the climate summit venue and said, ‘the COP has turned into a PR event where leaders are giving beautiful speeches and announcing fancy commitments behind the curtains and not taking any drastic climate action’.

Thunberg accused world leaders of being afraid of the truth and said that what is happening inside the conference hall is merely ‘blah blah blah’
‘They cannot ignore the scientific consensus, and above all they cannot ignore us - the people, including their own children,' Greta added
The rally was part of a series of demonstrations being staged around the world Friday and Saturday to coincide with the conference.
Youth activists are attending the talks in unprecedented numbers and protesting in masses outside the venue.
