Antoine Griezmann completed a shock loan move back to Atletico Madrid from Barcelona just ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline. Barca replaced Griezmann by signing Luuk de Jong on loan from Sevilla.
The 30-year-old, who scored 133 goals in his first spell with Atletico, has rejoined on a one-year loan deal with an option to extend by another year. The France international joins Luis Suarez, who left Barcelona for Atletico 12 months ago, at the reigning La Liga champions.
Neither club disclosed the obligation-to-buy fee but it was reportedly set at €40 million.
