Harmanpreet scores brace as India thrash Japan 6-0 in Asian Hockey Champions Trophy

Indian Hockey team continued their winning run in the Men's Asian Champions Trophy as they trounced Japan 6-0 in Dhaka.

Harmanpreet Singh opened India's account in the first quarter as he converted a penalty corner in the 10th minute to give India a 1-0 lead.

While Dilpreet Singh doubled the lead in the second quarter against the hapless Japanese side as the score read 2-0 at halftime.

India continued their forward press play in the third quarter as well and finally, Jarmanpreet Singh managed to find the target from just outside the circle, giving India a 3-0 advantage.

Harmanpreet converted another penalty corner in the final quarter before Sumit and Shamsheer scored a field goal each as India maintained the clean sheet.
