Haryana govt lifts decades old ban on govt staff attending RSS activities

Haryana’s BJP government has given a green light to its employees to partake in the activities of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

The Khattar government has nullified a two decades-old law that restrained state government officials from having any association with RSS activities and also invited action under service rules.

The rule reversal elicited a strong reaction from the Opposition Congress. “Are they running a government or a BJP-RSS Pathsala?” senior party leader Randeep Surjewala said.
