Heavy rainfall alert for eastern and western parts of India

As parts of southern India continue to recover from the devastation wreaked by heavy rainfall in the past few days, the weather department has issued an alert for eastern and western parts of the India. 

The Met department has said that while a depression would result in heavy rainfall in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh from November 30 to December 2, a western disturbance might cause heavy to very heavy rainfall in Gujarat, Konkan, and Central Maharashtra from the night of December 1 to December 2.

Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand also might experience rainfall and the overall weather would undergo many changes, according to the weather agency.
