Indian colts' top show at the Junior Hockey World Cup continued as India beat Belgium 1-0 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday to enter the semi-finals.
Shradhanand Tiwari put the hosts ahead in the second quarter as he converted India's only penalty corner of the match. Belgium came close to equalising a few times in the final 2 quarters but couldn't go past goalkeepers Pawan and Prashant Chauhan even once.
While India has staged a semi-finals clash vs Germany, Belgium once again goes back with bitter memories. India had also beaten them in the Junior Hockey World Cup final 5 years ago in Lucknow.
