The number of dead bodies recovered from the landslide site of Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh has gone up to 13, according to ITBP officials.

Wednesday’s massive landslide between Chaura and Nigulsari, along national highway-5 in Kinnaur district, occurred in the afternoon. Teams of ITBP, NDRF, CISF, police and district administration are carrying out the rescue operations.

13 people have been rescued safely, but a bus, a bolero and its passengers have not been found under the debris and are still untraceable.

PM Narendra Modi has announced ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for the families of those who lost their lives due to landslide in Kinnaur.
