'Hope he would not harm Congress': Gehlot on Capt. Amarinder Singh

Amid growing speculations over the turmoil that has ensued after Capt. Amarinder Singh resigned as Punjab's chief minister on Saturday, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has hoped that Singh won't harm the Congress.

Taking to twitter, he wrote, 'Capt. Amarinder Singh has worked to the best of his capacity and served the people of Punjab.'

He further added that he hoped Captain won't take any step that could cause damage to the Congress party.

Singh resigned as the Punjab chief minister on Saturday after an internal tussle with the MLAs.
