Will hot coconut water cure Cancer?: A message on social media claims that drinking hot coconut water daily would destroy Cancer cells in body. The message was attributed to Dr. Rajendra Bawde. In May 2019, Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai, a premier Cancer care hospital in which Dr. Bawde was then the Director, issued a Press Statement saying the message was unscientific and was never uttered by Dr. Bawde.
