Huawei has launched their custom operating system, HarmonyOS, for their phones, smartwatches, and other smart devices.

The launch comes after the US banned any trade with Huawei over security concerns, preventing Google from providing support and services to the company’s Android phones.

HarmonyOS is focused on connecting various smart devices so they work as one device, Huawei said at the launch.

The company aims to roll out HarmonyOS on over 200 million smartphones and 100 million third-party smart devices by the end of this year.
