In a huge honour for Virat Kohli, he has won the Sir Garfield Sobers Award for ICC Male Cricketer of the Decade. The Indian captain scored 20,396 international runs in the ICC Awards period, more than any other batsman. Moreover, he has the most hundreds and fifties during this period. Virat was also named the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Decade as he is the only player to score over 10000 ODI runs during this period. Apart from Virat, MS Dhoni also won the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award of the Decade. The former India captain was chosen by fans unanimously for his gesture of calling back England batsman Ian Bell after a bizarre run out in the Nottingham Test in 2011. Apart from them, Steve Smith was named the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Decade and Rashid Khan the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Decade.
