After ending Australia's 26-match winning run in ODIs, India impressed in its first-ever Day-Night Test as well, but Australia managed to pull off a draw on the 4th and final day.
In reply to India's 377/8, the hosts declared at 241/9 but Mithali Raj's side secured a crucial 136-run 1st innings lead. Shafali Verama scored a quick half-century as India declared its 2nd innings at 135/3, setting the Aussies a target of 272 runs. Draw was a likely result and it did happen as Australia ended the final day at 36/2.
Australia lead India 6-4 in the multi-format series so far and both teams will now shift focus to the 3-match T20 series starting October 7.
