India Inc took to social media to pay tribute to CDS General Rawat.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani tweeted to mark respect and called Gen Rawat an 'inspiring soldier of distinguished military lineage', and said his passing is a 'great loss' for India.

Sajjan Jindal, Chairman and Managing Director of JSW Group, said the nation has lost a 'fine soldier'. "General Rawat rose the ranks in service to the nation and we all thank him for his fearless service for so many years."
Startup ecosystem also paid homeage with Paytm CEO, Vijay Shekhar Sharma and Snapdeal founder, Kunal Bahl also mourned the loss of India's top military officer.
