10 BJP MPs resign from Parliament after winning Assembly elections

Ten BJP MPs have resigned from the membership of the Parliament after winning the Assembly elections.

As per reports, the decision was taken after a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief JP Nadda.

Those who have resigned include Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Joshi, Prahlad Singh Patel, Rakesh Singh, Uday Pratap and Riti Pathak from Madhya Pradesh; Arun Sao and Gomati Sai from Chhattisgarh and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Diya Kumari and Kirodi Lal Meena from Rajasthan.

As per reports, two other MPs, Union Minister Renuka Singh and Mahant Balaknath, are also expected to resign from the Lok Sabha.
