11-year-old boy attacked by pet Pitbull in Ghaziabad, receives 150 stitches in face

A boy was attacked by a pet dog inside a public park in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad leading to grave injuries to his face and ear. 

The CCTV footage of the incident shows girl, at the park, was walking a pitbull dog when suddenly she left the pet animal and it rushed to attack the 11-year-old boy’s face and ear.

People in the park in rescued the child from the dog's clutches but not before the canine had bitten his face and ear.

An India Today report said that the boy has received 150 stitches and is recuperating at his home in Sanjay Nagar.

The owner of the pitbul, Subhash Tyagi, kept the dog without license or registration. Reports said the local civic body has imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the owner of the dog.
