Two terrorists have been killed by security forces in the ongoing counter-terrorist operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri.
Weapons and ammunition have been recovered from the encounter site. According to a defence spokesperson, one of the terrorists was a highly-ranked leader of Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The Pakistani terrorist has been active in Rajouri-Poonch along with his group from the past one year, he said, adding he is also believed to be the mastermind of the Dangri and Kandi attacks.
The encounter, which started a day ago, saw the death of four Indian Army personnel, including two officers and two jawans.
The operation resumed on the second day after a night-long cordon of the area.
