The Haryana police have arrested three teachers and a staffer of Nuh-based Nikki Public School for allegedly helping students cheat. The school served as a centre for exams conducted recently.
“It’s not just those operating from outside, but staff members, including teachers, invigilators, employees and even observers who are involved in this cheating racket," said an official spokesperson of Nuh police.
"Police can curtail the menace outside, but what happens inside the examination centre needs to be handled by the Board officials. We have recommended, starting Monday, that mobile phones of all present at the centre should be confiscated till the duration of exam,” the spokesperson added.
This comes as Haryana police have launched a crackdown on cheating, particularly in Nuh.
Days ago, a video from Chandrawati School showed captured mass cheating in classes 10 and 12 board examinations. People were seen climbing up the school walls to pass chits to help students write their exam.
