Four suspected terrorists have been arrested in Haryana's Karnal on Thursday after arms, ammunition and suspected RDX was allegedly recovered from the vehicle they were travelling in, a senior police official said.
According to the Karnal police, 4 people were detained near Bastara toll plaza in Haryana based on credible intelligence inputs and explosives were recovered from them along with other arms & ammunition.
The police have identified the accused as Gurpreet, Amandeep Parminder and Bhupinder.
The police said that the four were in touch with a Pakistan-based man who had asked them to drop the weapons in Telangana's Adilabad.
1 country-made pistol, 31 live cartridges and three containers with explosives have been recovered, according to the police.

An FIR has been registered against the 4 suspected terrorists under Explosive Substances Act & Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
