In a setback for the Aam Admi Party, Delhi’s social welfare minister Raaj Kumar Anand has resigned from the primary membership of the party.

The Patel Nagar MLA said that AAP was born out of a movement against corruption, but today this party is mired in the quicksand of graft.

The Cabinet minister accused the AAP of not giving due respect to Dalits and individuals from backward communities.

Pertinently, the Enforcement Directorate as part of a money laundering probe had carried out searches at Anand's residence on November 3.
