Agnipath protests: Group of men enter railway station in UP's Ballia, damage railway property

Friday morning saw renewed protests against the contentious Agnipath recruitment scheme. A group of men entered the railway station in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district and vandalised a train and railway staion property. 

The Ballia police managed to disperse the crowed by force but not before some damage was inflicted. The Ballia police chief said they dispersed the people after talking with them.

According to a report in NDTV, another group of protestors carrying sticks argued with the police outside the railway station.

Videos of the protest show young men with lathis breaking shops and benches at the railway station.
