Even as the Opposition moved a no-confidence motion against the Narendra Modi government, protests continued in Parliament.

Sloganeering and brandishing of placards led to brief adjournments of the Lower House of the Parliament on July 26.

The Opposition has been demanding a statement by Modi on the Manipur situation, as well as a detailed discussion, but the government has been resisting the requests.
