Amid G20 summit prep, 2 men try to enter Delhi LG office, arrested by police

Just days ahead of the G20 summit in Delhi, a major security breach was prevented at the Lieutenant Governor's office.

Police on September 3 that two men had been arrested for allegedly trying to enter LG VK Saxena's office in a fraudulent manner.

The accused visited the LG's office on August 30, and one of them claimed to be an IAS officer who had an appointment with Saxena. Secretariat staff checked their claims and informed the police.

Cops believe that the accused were planning to scam people using photographs taken with the Lieutenant Governor.
