Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on 21st February exuded confidence in finalising a seat-sharing pact with Congress in Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
On being asked why he was not present twice in Congress leader Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Yadav said, "All is well that ends well. Yes, [there will be an alliance]. There is no conflict. Everything will be out and clear soon."
Asked how many seats will his party contest in UP, Yadav said it is aiming for the maximum possible.
Samajwadi Party has so far declared the names of 31 candidates for the Lok Sabha polls in UP.
Earlier this month, Yadav had shared a social media post saying his party has finalised a deal with Congress for 11 seats.
