The National Investigation Agency (NIA) will take over the investigation into the blast at Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, PTI reported quoting sources.
At least nine people were injured in the explosion that took place in the IT capital's posh Whitefield area on March 1.
A man wearing a cap, mask and glasses is the prime suspect in the case and is still untraceable, sources told PTI. Reports suggest the suspect used a low-intensity improvised explosive device.
The Bengaluru Police earlier registered a case under the stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act and Explosives Substances Act in connection with attack at the popular quick-service eatery.
