The gloves are off between former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray and the man who led to his resignation, current chief minister Eknath Shinde.
Addressing Shiv Sena workers on Tuesday, party president Uddhav Thackeray took a swipe that Shinde and said that the Maha Vikas Aghadi was referred to as 'three-wheeler government' but now a person who used to drive a three-wheeler is running the govt.

Uddhav was referring to Eknath Shinde's past as an auto-driver.
In reply, the chief minister tweeted that the auto’s speed was so fast that it left the Mercedes behind. He said that his government is the government of the common man.
The repartee is being seen as reference to Uddhav Thackeray driving a Mercedes to the Raj Bhavan to submit his resignation.
