A high-octane drama erupted at Delhi airport on Tuesday night after passengers and Air India staff got engaged in a heated dispute over a Mumbai-bound flight which got delayed by nearly 5 hours.
The agitated passengers said that the delay cost them their connection flight to Qatar.
A passenger told News Agency ANI that the flight, which was supposed to take off originally at 8 pm, finally left around 1:40 am Some passengers also alleged that the authorities did not even offer them water as they waited and made up stories giving no clarity behind the delay.
Meanwhile, an Air India spokesperson refuted the accusations by saying that all passengers were provided meals.
