In a big relief for protesting doctors of government hospitals, the Supreme Court has given a go ahead for NEET-PG counselling for 2021-22.
The Supreme Court has upheld the validity of 27 per cent reservation for the OBC community and 10 per cent for economically weaker sections category for the NEET-PG exam for admission to medical entrance courses for this year.

For EWS the existing criteria of ₹ 8 lakh annual income has been upheld for this academic year. The top court said that it will hold a detailed hearing on EWS reservation in March, when it will consider the validity of EWS quotas.
The doctors have been protesting for many days over delay in NEET PG Counselling, which has delayed college allotments of postgraduate medical students in Delhi.
