BJP's lone MP from Kerala Suresh Gopi to be cabinet minister in Modi 3.0: report

Actor-politician Suresh Gopi, who finally broke BJP's jinx in LS polls from Thrissur, is likely to become a Union minister in the Narendra Modi government.

According to The Indian Express, the newly elected MP, Gopi has also received the call from the PM designate to attend the tea programme before the swearing-in ceremony today.

The former Rajya Sabha MP Gopi won the seat by an impressive margin of 74,686 votes in a tightly-contested triangular fight against the Left and UDF.
