Bomb found at roadside in Jammu & Kashmir's Sopore

A terrorist attack was averted in Jammu and Kashmir after security forces detected a bomb in Sopore area of Baramulla district.

An improvised exposive device (IED) was detected by security personnel at the side of a road on 13 December 2022.

The IED, planted by terrorists, was detected by a road opening party of forces in the morning, and a bomb disposal squad was deployed to get rid of the threat.

Sopore police, CRPF, and Army soldiers were also seen at the spot.

Security forces on Tuesday detected the improvised explosive device (IED) planted on the side of a road in the Sopore area of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.

The IED, planted by militants, was detected by a road opening party of the security forces at Tulibal in Sopore in the morning, officials said.
