Indian security officials have claimed that Canada has not shared any credible evidence through either the diplomatic or the intelligence channel with New Delhi on Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar's murder.

According to Hindustan Times, the officials said that neither Canada nor the United States shared any intelligence on the issue in the run-up to the G20 Summit.

The officials further said that Canadian PM Justin Trudeau should name the killer of Nijjar and the Indian government official, if any' who allegedly ordered the hit.

The officials insisted that Trudeau’s allegations are politically motivated with an eye on the Sikh diaspora in Canada.
