Disturbing videos have emerged online in which a man can be seen attacking residents of Delhi's Paschim Vihar locality along with their pet dog.
The man, identified as Dharamvir Dahiya, was upset over the dog barking and allegedly biting him.
Caught on CCTV cameras, one video shows Dahiya running towards the barking dog with an iron rod in his hand and then striking the dog on the head. The owner, who tries to intervene, is also dealt a blow by Dahiya.
Another video shows Dahiya purpotedly barging into the residents' house and hitting a woman who tries to stop with the iron rod.
Officials at the East Paschim Vihar police station said that they received a PCR call regarding the matter at 9.27 am on Sunday.

Deputy commissioner of police (DCP, Outer) Sameer Sharma said that they have registered a case under various sections of the IPC and an investigation is underway.
