Chain snatchers target Delhi Police's encounter specialist and then this happened

The Delhi Police on March 16 have arrested two chain snatchers who targeted a jogger at Nehru Park in the Chanakyapuri area in Delhi. They pulled out a pistol and snapped the chain of the man before running the entry gate of the park. 

But the story took a turn because the man was an encounter specialist in Delhi Police's Special Cell. Skilled in the martial art, Vinod Badola, chased the snatchers and caught one of them and disarmed. The second accused was reportedly escaped.

Badola immidiately informed about the incoident to the PCR and started searching for the second accused. The snatcher tried to escape by blending in with the crowd but ended was getting caught near a fountain.  

The two snatchers, identified as Gaurav and Pawan Dev, have been charged under sections for robbery with intent to cause death. The police have collected CCTV footage from the area and increased patrolling around the spot, police reported to The Times of India outlet.
