The Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have arrived at a seat-sharing agreement in Delhi for the upcoming Lok Sabha election, after weeks of negotiations.

According to reports, AAP will fight from four of the seven constituencies in the national capital, while its ally Congress will contest three seats.

The formal announcement, with the complete roster of seats, is likely on Friday.

The deal, that comes close on the heels of a seat-sharing agreement between the Samajwadi Party and Congress in Uttar Pradesh, is a big win for the INDIA bloc as it takes on the election machinery of the ruling National Democratic Alliance.
