It is expected to turn into a severe cyclonic storm by the night of May 11, and reach peak intensity on the evening of May 13.
It is likely to make landfall between Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh and Sittwe in Myanmar.
Mocha is expected to cause heavy rainfall in India's Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
