The Income Tax Department's searches at UK broadcaster BBC's offices continued for the third day on 16 February 2023.

I-T investigators had spent around 45 hours at BBC's offices already, with no clear timeline about when the operation would end, as per reports.

At least 10 senior employees of the company have been present at the office since the "survey" began on 14 February, according to sources quoted by NDTV.

A staffer said that BBC's news broadcasts were not affected, and many employees were working remotely. Meanwhile, I-T officials collected financial data from the workers, and also made copies of documents, the NDTV report said.
