Canada's trade mission to India, scheduled to be held in October, has been postponed, India Today reported quoting a spokesperson for Canadian Trade Minister Mary Ng.

This comes days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held talks on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in New Delhi.

During their talks, on September 10, PM Modi had conveyed Delhi's strong concerns about the continuing anti-India activities of Khalistan supporters in Canada.

Earlier this month, just days before the G20 summit, Canada had announced its decision to pause trade pact talks with India.
