Just days before China President Xi Jinping is expected to visit India for the G20 summit, Beijing laid claim to Indian territories by issuing a new map.

A new "standard map" was released by the Chinese government on August 28, which showed the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh as part of Chinese territory. The map also showed the Aksai Chin region as part of China.

Not just India, the map also laid claim to Taiwan and disputed areas of the South China Sea.
