A 25-year-old man was stabbed to death in Delhi's Nangloi area on February 14 following a spat between his brother and a bus driver.
Malik's uncle Khaleel narrated the incident to news agency ANI saying that the RTV bus tried to run him over to which he objected and that led to a spat between Vishal and the driver.
The driver along with several other men then proceeded to attack Vishal who managed to escape and reach a nearby police station, the family said. In a hurry to escape the angry men, Vishal left his bike behind.
The brothers' family alleged that when the police sent Sahil Malik to recover the bike from the spot near the Metro station, some men attacked him and his friend.
Sahil was stabbed by them during the fight, his friend told ANI. He went on to say that he tried to hit the men with a brick he found nearby but by then they had already left.
A video circulating online shows the friend trying to help a bloodied Sahil, who seems unable to walk. Seconds later, some passers-by come to the friend's aid and help take Sahil to the hospital on a two-wheeler, as confirmed by the friend to ANI.
Sahil, however, died of his wounds at the hospital.
