Delhi-NCR region is gasping for breath due to the severe problem of air pollution in the city. As governments look to implement measures to tackle and curb pollution, Anand Mahindra has shared a video on X saying it could be the solution.
Stubble burning is considered one of the contributors to the capital's toxic air and the video shared by Mahindra mentions that regenerative agriculture is the solution to tackle pollution in Delhi.
Anand Mahindra shared the video with a caption, that read, “To heal Delhi’s pollution, Regenerative Agriculture MUST be given a chance. It provides a remunerative alternative to stubble burning while simultaneously increasing soil productivity. @VikashAbraham of @naandi_india stands ready to help. Let’s do it!”
It is worth noting that due to the pollution, schools have been asked to suspend physical classes till November 10. Other than this, the state government asked offices to implement work-from-home.
Moreover, the odd-even rule will also be implemented from November 13 to 20.
