Two days after Diwali, the air quality in Delhi has plunged to the 'severe' category.
The air quality index or AQI in RK Puram was recorded at 417, Punjabi Bagh at 410, ITO at 430 and Jahangirpuri at 428.
A day ago, that is the day after Diwali, the overall AQI of the national was 358 in the 'very poor' category.
The city had recorded the best AQI in eight years on Diwali, owing to rains three days prior to the festival.
Meanwhile, the air quality in Noida and Ghaziabad stood in the 'very poor' category.
