Amid a decline in the daily coronavirus infections in the national capital, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said that the restrictions which were reimposed to combat the third wave would be lifted soon.
The chief minister said that the Covid-19 positivity rate has reduced by 20% in the span of last 10 days and on Tuesday it's about 10%, opposed to 30% positivity rate on January 15.
He attributed the consistent pace of vaccinations as the reason to bring down the infections in the capital city and said his government would ensure that the livelihoods of the residents doesn't suffer.

The chief minister pointed out that he had sent proposals to lift restrictions to the Lieutenant Governor but he did not accept it.
