As an overflowing Yamuna submerges parts of the national capital, Delhiites are discussing how the river seems to have reclaimed its old course.
On July 13, visuals emerged of the Yamuna reaching the Red Fort, prompting social media users to post illustrations of Yamuna flowing next to the iconic Mughal structure along with images from the current floods.

One Twitter user while sharing the pictures wrote that a river never forgets and it will recapture its borders even after centuries. Another user posted a similar comparison and wrote that nature always comes back.
